Our biggest event of the year so far

We’re thrilled to announce the successful delivery of our biggest event so far in 2024, a medical conference at the iconic Wills Memorial Building in Bristol.

This annual event saw around 400 delegates from various fields within primary academic care come together and share important research and knowledge.

This was our second year we had organised the conference for our client. You can read about last year’s event here.  

In addition to three days of presentations, there were two social events, a drinks reception at the Royal West of England Academy and conference dinner at the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery.

Working in collaboration with the University of Bristol, our responsibilities included:

• Liaising with the host team at Bristol University to establish a theme for the conference, agree a budget and responsibilities
• Reviewing abstract submissions for oral, poster and workshop presentations, and coordinating the peer review process
• Populating the online programme with content provided by the Bristol programme committee and keeping it up-to-date in the lead up to the conference
• Receiving, checking and filing presentation slides for the AV team to manage on site
• Efficiently managing delegate registrations and maintaining clear communication with all delegates and presenters to ensure they had all necessary information leading up to the event
• Providing on site support throughout the conference, including registration desk management and session coordination
• Compiling the conference abstract book
• Gathering feedback from participants to continuously improve our event management services and ensure future conferences exceed expectations

Destinations for the next two conference in 2025 and 2026 are already confirmed and plans are underway.
