As The Association Management Company (The AMC) continues to grow, we are looking to recruit an experienced Membership Account Manager to join our friendly team.

Established in 2007, The AMC is an award-winning company which provides professional association management services to trade associations, federations and charities. In 2021 we welcomed three new clients on board, and we have more plans for further growth.

Every day we aim to do the best for our clients and for each other, while upholding our five key values: sustainable success, service excellence, agility, reliability and integrity.

The services we provide typically include membership support, finance, meetings, events, communications, administration, governance and representation. We are looking for a new team member who has these essential skills:

• Leadership experience
• Proven track record of a strong member or customer-focused approach
• Confident in communicating with people at all professional levels and from different industries and backgrounds
• Good experience at running projects and/or events including budgeting
• Good oral and written communication skills including writing and distributing communications
• Good presentation skills
• Good analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to cope with changing priorities
• Excellent IT skills – must be fully conversant with all MS Office programmes
• Willing to travel within the UK to attend and manage events and meetings
• A team player who values all colleagues as equals
• Prepared to get stuck in and get the job done
