It’s science: The AMC delivers another successful conference

Fresh from delivering a hugely successful scientific conference, we’re putting our responsibilities at the event under the microscope:

The AMC team was tasked with making sure all aspects of the three-day event, which saw more than 300 delegates attend, went seamlessly.

This included:

• Liaising with the venue and negotiating contracts
• Contracting and liaising with an AV team (there was a lot of AV!)
• Arranging a networking event
• Requesting and reviewing abstract submissions (this was an academic conference)
• Arranging prizes
• Sourcing volunteers, chairs and speakers
• Providing instructions for delegates

As with all of our events, we’ve created an improvement list and planning is already underway for next year’s conference.
