Fresh from delivering a hugely successful scientific conference, we’re putting our responsibilities at the event under the microscope:
The AMC team was tasked with making sure all aspects of the three-day event, which saw more than 300 delegates attend, went seamlessly.
This included:
- Liaising with the venue and negotiating contracts
- Contracting and liaising with an AV team (there was a lot of AV!)
- Arranging a networking event
- Requesting and reviewing abstract submissions (this was an academic conference)
- Arranging prizes
- Sourcing volunteers, chairs and speakers
- Providing instructions for delegates
As with all of our events, we’ve created an improvement list and planning is already underway for next year’s conference.
